This Code of Conduct is a guide to the behaviours, beliefs, and actions that define incredible teammates and uphold our mission: To build highly efficient, all women moto expedition teams to have the most fun, safely exploring the globe on two wheels.

Characteristics of Incredible Teammates

Incredible teammates are the backbone of successful teams, bringing the right combination of mindset, behaviors, and actions that foster collaboration, trust, and achievement. Here are the key characteristics, actions and standards we’ve set to ensure each team is filled with strong team member:

1. Selflessness

Behaviour: Prioritize the team’s goals over own preferences.

Belief: "The success of the group is more important than individual glory."

Action: Helping others even when it’s not convenient, and being willing to compromise for the greater good.

2. Reliability

Behaviour: Consistently deliver on commitments.

Belief: "My team can count on me to do what I say I will."

Action: Showing up to team calls, being prepared for the expedition, and being dependable in good and challenging times.

3. Strong Communication Skills

Behaviour: Listen actively and express themselves clearly and respectfully.

Belief: "Open communication builds trust and clarity."

Action: Sharing ideas constructively, giving and receiving feedback, and resolving conflicts directly and diplomatically.

4. Adaptability

Behaviour: Remain calm and flexible when plans change or challenges arise.

Belief: "Plans rarely go as planned, that’s what makes this an adventure."

Action: Approaching unexpected situations with curiosity and problem-solving instead of frustration or resistance.  Letting go of what you think “should” happen to be present in what is.

5. Empathy

Behaviour: Demonstrate genuine care about the well-being and perspectives of others.

Belief: "Understanding others makes the team stronger."

Action: Checking in on teammates, offering support during tough times, and being patient when someone struggles.

6. Positivity

Behaviour: Inspire and motivate others with their optimism.

Belief: "What’s wrong is always available, but so is what’s right."

Action: Celebrating wins, encouraging teammates, and finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems.

7. Accountability

Behaviour: Own actions and their consequences.

Belief: "Everyone makes mistakes but cleaning them up makes things right."

Action: Admitting mistakes, seeking solutions, and being transparent about their progress.

8. Team-First Mindset

Behaviour: Consider how actions affect the group as a whole.

Belief: "How does everybody win here?"

Action: Seeking ways to contribute to team success, avoiding selfish behavior, considering others’ needs, speaking up when needed but is willing to step back and listen

9. Resilience

Behaviour: Remain steady and constructive in the face of setbacks.

Belief: "Challenges are opportunities to grow stronger."

Action: Staying solution-focused during adversity, learning from failures, and encouraging others to keep moving forward.

10. Respectfulness

Behaviour: Value others’ ideas, roles, and efforts.

Belief: "Everyone’s contribution matters."

Action: Listening without interrupting, acknowledging teammates’ strengths, and maintaining a professional demeanour even during disagreements.

  • Maintains Integrity: Acts ethically and honours commitments, even when no one is watching.

Behaviours We Do Not Accept

  • Gossip

  • Ongoing, unresolved conflict

  • Holding grudges after efforts have been made 

  • Focusing on others’ flaws instead of strengths

  • Choosing not to participate fully

  • Forming cliques or excluding others

  • Disrespecting others’ roles on the team

  • Having a pattern or belief that “others are the problem” or "I don’t get along well with others."
